To replace the handstrap on your Intermec CN51 device, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the device is powered off and disconnected from any power source.
2. Locate the two screws on the back of the device near the bottom edge.
3. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove these two screws and set them aside.
4. Once the screws are removed, gently pull the back cover of the device away from the front panel. Be careful not to apply excessive force to avoid damaging the device.
5. With the back cover removed, you will see the handstrap attached to the device.
6. Locate the two small tabs on the sides of the handstrap near the bottom.
7. Gently push these tabs inward to release the handstrap from the device.
8. Once the handstrap is released, carefully remove it from the device.
9. Take the new handstrap and align the holes on the strap with the corresponding holes on the device.
10. Insert the tabs on the new handstrap into the slots on the device and push them in until they click into place.
11. Reattach the back cover of the device by aligning it with the front panel and pressing it firmly until it snaps into place.
12. Use the Phillips screwdriver to reinstall the two screws on the back of the device and tighten them securely.
13. Power on the device and ensure that the new handstrap is securely attached and functioning properly.
