To ignite the pilot flame on the Patriot PT-RGR36C Gas Range, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the gas supply to the range.
2. Locate the pilot flame and use a lighter to ignite it. If the range hasn't been used in a while or if this is the first lighting, ignition might take a little longer (about two or three minutes).
3. Press the corresponding valve xxxx of the burner you want to ignite and turn it 90 degrees counterclockwise. The burner will be ignited, and the flame will be at maximum. To set the flame to minimum, rotate the xxxx counterclockwise another 90 degrees.
4. When you are finished cooking, turn off the main burner by rotating the xxxx clockwise to the "off" position. The pilot flame should remain lit.
5. For a complete shutdown, ensure that all burner knobs are turned to the "off" position, and then turn off the main gas supply.
Please refer to the "BURNERS" section of the instruction manual for more detailed information and safety precautions regarding the use of the burners on the Patriot PT-RGR36C Gas Range.
