To connect the Audioengine DAC3 to your computer, follow these steps:
1. For Mac users: Go to System Preferences and select "Sound." Under the Output tab, choose "Audioengine DAC3" as the sound output.
For PC users: The DAC3 will be recognized automatically.
2. Connect your DAC3 to your computer using the included USB-C cable. If you have an iOS device, use a USB-C to Lightning cable.
3. Plug your headphones or powered speakers into the mini-jack output on the DAC3.
4. Adjust the volume levels on both your computer and the DAC3 to a medium level.
5. Start playing music on your computer, and you should hear the audio through the DAC3 and your headphones or speakers.
Note: It is recommended to give the DAC3 a break-in time of 40 to 50 hours before doing any critical listening. This allows the device to optimize its performance.
