To connect your HP MFP M28-M31 LaserJet Pro Printer to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the printer is turned off and the power cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the printer. This cable is used to establish a connection between the printer and your computer.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the printer.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
5. Plug the power cord into the printer and then connect the other end to a grounded AC outlet.
6. Turn on the printer by pressing the power button located on the control panel.
7. Wait for the printer to initialize and display a ready status on the control panel.
Once the printer is connected and powered on, your computer should detect it automatically. You may need to install the necessary printer drivers and software on your computer for full functionality. Refer to the user guide that came with the printer for detailed instructions on driver installation and software setup.
