To set the combination for the LOCKER DOWN LD2028/LD2028EX safe in your Dodge Ram, follow these steps:
1. Open the safe door.
2. Locate the combination dial on the front of the safe.
3. Turn the dial clockwise (to the right) at least four full rotations to clear any previous combination.
4. Stop turning the dial when the first number of your desired combination aligns with the reference mark on the dial.
5. Turn the dial counterclockwise (to the left) one full rotation, passing the first number once, and stop when the second number of your desired combination aligns with the reference mark.
6. Turn the dial clockwise (to the right) directly to the third number of your desired combination, aligning it with the reference mark.
7. With the three numbers of your desired combination aligned with the reference mark, carefully test the lock by turning the dial clockwise (to the right) until it stops. This should lock the safe.
8. To unlock the safe, turn the dial counterclockwise (to the left) directly to each of the three numbers of your combination, aligning them with the reference mark one at a time.
9. Once all three numbers are aligned, turn the dial clockwise (to the right) until it stops. This should unlock the safe.
