To start a wash cycle on the Hotpoint NSWM 1045C W UK N Freestanding Washing Machine, follow these steps:
1. Plug the washing machine into a power outlet and make sure there is power in the house.
2. Close the water tap and ensure that the water inlet hose is properly connected to the tap.
3. Open the door of the washing machine and load the laundry, making sure not to exceed the maximum load quantity indicated in the wash cycle table.
4. Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer and pour the appropriate amount of detergent into the relevant compartments. Follow the instructions on the detergent packaging for proper dosage.
5. Close the door of the washing machine.
6. The machine will automatically display the maximum temperature and spin speed values for the selected cycle. Use the temperature and spin buttons to adjust these settings if desired.
7. Select the desired wash cycle using the wash cycle selector xxxx . Refer to the wash cycle table in the user guide for information on the different cycles and their recommended use.
8. Select any desired options such as Extra Rinse, Extra Touch, Delay Start, temperature, and spin speed.
9. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the wash cycle. The indicator light will light up steady green, and the door will lock.
10. The cycle duration and remaining time will be displayed on the screen. The machine will automatically progress through the selected cycle.
Note: If you need to pause the wash cycle, press the START/PAUSE button again. To open the door while a cycle is in progress, pause the cycle first by pressing the START/PAUSE button, and then wait for the door lock symbol to turn off before opening the door.
