To connect the to your bass guitar and amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Connect your bass guitar to the input jack of the BV-1V using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
2. Connect the output jack of the BV-1V to your amplifier using another standard 1/4" instrument cable.
3. Ensure that the BV-1V is powered by connecting a 9V DC power adapter with center negative polarity to the DC input jack of the BV-1V.
4. Set the desired levels and tones using the controls on the BV-1V. The controls include LEVEL, MIX, BASS, TREBLE, GAIN, POST BOOST, and PRE BOOST. Refer to the owner's manual for detailed explanations of each control.
5. Experiment with the BOOST function to achieve different sounds. The BOOST switch can be turned on or off to add or remove additional distortion or volume boost to your sound.
6. Once you have set the desired settings, play your bass guitar and adjust the controls as needed to achieve the desired tone.
