To connect the Lindy 100m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60, IR & RS-232 HDBaseT Extender, please follow these steps:
1. Power off all devices before starting the installation.
2. Connect an HDMI source device to the Transmitter unit using an HDMI cable.
3. Connect one end of a Cat.6/7 cable to the HDBaseT Out port on the Transmitter and the other end to the HDBaseT In port of the Receiver. It is recommended to use U/UTP or F/UTP solid core installation cables.
4. Use another HDMI cable to connect an HDMI display device to the HDMI output port on the Receiver unit.
5. If analogue audio extraction is required, connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the Audio Out port of the Receiver and the opposite end to an amplifier or speaker setup.
6. Plug the DC power supply into the Transmitter or Receiver and switch it on.
7. Power on the source device and display to complete the installation.
Please refer to the user manual for additional functionality, such as RS-232 Serial and Infrared Control, if needed.
Note: Make sure to use good quality Cat.6 solid core cable for optimal performance. Using different cable types or introducing wall plates, couplers, or patch panels may result in a reduction of possible distances.
