To set the combination for the LOCKER DOWN LD2042/LD2042EX Down Exxtreme Console Locker, follow these steps:
1. Open the safe door.
2. Locate the combination dial on the front of the safe.
3. Turn the dial clockwise at least four complete rotations to clear any previous combination.
4. Stop turning the dial when the first number of your desired combination aligns with the arrow on the dial.
5. Turn the dial counterclockwise, passing the first number once, and stop when the second number aligns with the arrow.
6. Turn the dial clockwise again, directly to the third number of your combination.
7. Gently pull the shackle or latch upward to test the combination. If the safe opens, the combination has been set successfully.
8. Close the safe door and lock it using the newly set combination.
Please note that it is recommended to set the combination with the door open to avoid locking yourself out. Always test the combination before closing and locking the safe.
