To set the combination for the LOCK ER DOWN LD2044EX7 EXxtreme Console Safe, follow these steps:
1. Clear out the contents of the center console, including the factory mat at the bottom.
2. Remove the neoprene padding from the inside of the safe.
3. Set the safe into the center console.
4. Before securing the safe, set the combination with the door open. This allows you to test the lock combination effectively without locking yourself out.
5. Secure the safe to the console compartment using the LOCK'ER DOWN provided self-tapping screws. Insert the screws through the two holes at the bottom of the safe.
6. Tighten the screws, but be careful not to over tighten as this could damage the console.
7. Re-insert the padding that was removed from the safe before installation.
8. Your combination is now set, and you can enjoy using your LOCK ER DOWN LD2044EX7 EXxtreme Console Safe.
