To install and set up the Somfy 1822303 Thermis WireFree II io Temperature Sensor, please follow the instructions below:
1. Mounting and Fastening the Thermis WireFree II io:
- Drill two holes (6 mm in diameter) on the wall, one below the other and approximately 17 mm apart.
- Fasten the wall bracket using the provided screws, ensuring that the word "UP" is legible with the arrow pointing upwards and the water evacuation hole at the bottom.
- Place the Thermis WireFree II io on the wall bracket with the two arrows aligned and then turn it clockwise to lock it in position. If the sensor is not mounted straight, follow the steps below.
- Open the sensor by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Loosen the xxxx in the oblong hole and turn the wall bracket.
- Tighten the xxxx again and fasten the sensor to the wall bracket.
2. Battery Installation:
- Open the Thermis WireFree II io by rotating the sensor on its wall bracket anti-clockwise to align the two arrows on the side and separate the two parts.
- Install the 2 supplied batteries, observing the polarity. The sensor's green PROG. indicator light will come on.
- Leave the sensor open to continue the setup.
3. Recording the Thermis WireFree II io in a TaHoma:
- Refer to the instructions for the Somfy io two-way control point.
4. Recording the Thermis WireFree II io in a Pergola Louver Control io Motorisation:
- Refer to the instructions for the Pergola Louver Control io Motorisation.
5. Recording the Thermis WireFree II io using a One-Way io Control Point:
- Press the PROG button on the io control point until the motorised product performs an up-and-down movement (approximately 2 seconds).
- Briefly press the PROG button on the Thermis WireFree II io. The motorised product will move up and down again, indicating that the Thermis WireFree II io is paired.
6. Using the Thermis WireFree II io:
- Refer to the instructions for the TaHoma or the Pergola Louver Control for usage details.
