To remove the X-PLOR Dust Cap Cartridge from the X-PLO₂R, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the X-PLO₂R by pressing the power button for 2 seconds.
2. Remove the X-PLO₂R from the carrying bag, if applicable.
3. Take out the battery from the X-PLO₂R.
4. Place the X-PLO₂R on its side to access the underside of the POC.
5. Pull the cartridge out of the POC by gripping the cartridge pull handle and pulling it out.
6. Remove the cartridge completely from the X-PLO₂R and dispose of it properly.
To install a new X-PLOR Dust Cap Cartridge, follow these steps:
1. Take the new cartridge out of the mylar bag. Note that it has a dust cap on top. Remove the dust cap and ensure there is no dust or debris where the dust cap was located.
2. Insert the new cartridge top first into the X-PLO₂R. Make sure to insert the new cartridge as soon as the used cartridge is removed to avoid exposing the cartridge ends.
3. Push the cartridge into the X-PLO₂R until it is fully inside.
4. Ensure that the cartridge pull handle lays flat once the cartridge is secured.
5. Connect a charged battery to the X-PLO₂R.
6. Turn on the X-PLO₂R by pressing the power button for 2 seconds.
7. Set the flow setting to your prescribed setting and use the X-PLO₂R as usual.
