To test the Migro Wireless Controls system before installation, follow these steps:
1. Find a suitable bench or workspace to set up the system for testing.
2. Ensure that the Transmitter and Receiver antennas are mounted facing the same vertical position, even if there is no line of sight.
3. It is crucial never to operate the transmitter or receiver without the antenna.
4. Separate the Transmitter and Receiver at least 6 feet (2 meters) apart.
5. Make sure the 12 code DIP switch on the Transmitter matches the Receiver.
6. Connect both the Transmitter and Receiver to a power source.
7. Note that CH1 on the Transmitter allows for continuous operation, while CH2, CH3, and CH4 are for pulse operation.
8. To test the system, close the INPUT CH1 terminal on the Transmitter with a wire jumper (Hold). This will make the Transmitter send pulses.
9. At the Receiver, the relay 934135 will energize and remain ON continuously.
10. Release the wire jumper from INPUT CH1 on the Transmitter. After the OFF time delay of approximately 60 seconds has expired, the relay 934135 at the Receiver will disconnect.
By following these steps, you can test the Migro Wireless Controls system on a bench for proper setup and operation before installation.
