To configure the IP address for the CyberPower RMCARD305 Remote Management Card, you can follow the steps outlined in the user guide:
1. Method 1: Using the Power Device Network Utility
- Download and install the Power Device Network Utility from the CyberPower website.
- Launch the Power Device Network Utility.
- The utility will display all CyberPower Remote Management devices on the local network subnet.
- Select the Remote Management Card you want to configure.
- Click on the Tools menu and select or double-click the Remote Management Card.
- In the Device Network Settings window, you can modify the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and gateway address.
- Enter the new addresses into the corresponding fields and click "Save".
- You will need to enter a User Name and Password for the Remote Management Card in the authentication window.
- If the IP address change is successful, you will see a confirmation message.
2. Method 2: Using a Command Prompt
- Obtain the MAC address from the label on the Remote Management Card.
- Open a command prompt on a PC connected to the same network as the Remote Management Card.
- Use the ARP command to set the IP address. For example, if the MAC address is 00-0C-15-00-FF-99 and you want to assign the IP address 192.168.10.134, type the following command: "arp -s 192.168.10.134 00-0C-15-00-FF-99".
- Use the Ping command to verify communication with the IP address. Type "ping 192.168.10.134 -l 123" and press Enter. If the replies are received, your computer can communicate with the IP address.
