To set the combination for the lock on the LOCKER DOWN LD2017 Console Safe, follow these steps:
1. Open the safe door.
2. Locate the combination dial on the lock.
3. Turn the dial clockwise (to the right) at least four complete rotations to clear any previous combination.
4. Stop turning the dial when the first number of your desired combination aligns with the reference mark on the lock.
5. Turn the dial counterclockwise (to the left) one full rotation, passing the first number once, and stop when the second number of your combination aligns with the reference mark.
6. Turn the dial clockwise again, directly to the third number of your combination.
7. Pull the shackle or latch upward to test the combination. If the lock opens, the combination is set successfully.
8. Close the safe door and scramble the combination dial to secure it.
Please note that it is recommended to set the combination with the door open to avoid locking yourself out.
