To install the DEATSCH DW200 Fuel Pump, please follow the steps below:
1. It is recommended to refer to the factory manual or instructions specific to your vehicle to remove the fuel pump assembly.
2. Start by removing the green retainer from the electrical connector. If it is damaged during removal, it can be discarded.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the fuel sock.
4. Remove the original equipment (OE) pump from the assembly. Do not discard the OE pump isolator.
5. Cut the supplied hose to the appropriate length and install it on the assembly using the provided DW hose clamps.
6. Install the supplied fuel sock on the DW200/300 fuel pump using the fuel sock retainer. Then, install the pump into the assembly.
7. Plug the electrical connector into the DW200/300 fuel pump.
8. The assembly is now ready to be installed in the fuel tank.
9. Reinstall the assembly into the fuel tank and attach a length of hose to the outlet of the pump assembly, allowing it to drain into a fuel-safe container. This will help prime the fuel pump assembly.
10. Cycle the key to the "on" position multiple times to prime the pump assembly and evacuate any air introduced during the installation process.
11. Finally, attach the supply line to the outlet of the pump assembly.
Please note that the above instructions are provided as a general guide. It is important to consult the factory manual or specific instructions for your vehicle to ensure proper installation.
