Before attaching the DC plug of the adapter to your equipment, please follow these steps:
1. Unplug the adapter from the AC power source.
2. Verify that the output connector, polarity, output voltage, and output current of the adapter are suitable for and within the rating of your equipment.
3. Keep the linkage between the adapter and its power cord tight.
4. Connect the DC plug to your device properly by holding the plug and the device to be connected.
5. Ensure that the input and output cables are protected against mechanical stress and from being trampled.
