Cleaning the Midea SCK-3Q60B humidifier is important to maintain its performance and prevent the growth of bacteria. Here are the steps to clean the humidifier:
1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Remove the filter cover and sponge from the water tank by rotating them.
3. Clean the filter cover and sponge with clean water.
4. Clean the water tray and atomizer by adding detergent or water and then rinsing thoroughly.
5. Use a soft cloth dipped in warm water (below 104°F) with a small amount of mild dish soap to wipe off any surface stains on the exterior of the humidifier.
6. Do not put water into the product when flushing to avoid the risk of electric shock.
7. It is recommended to clean the humidifier tank once every 3 days to remove scale and debris.
8. If the humidifier emits a white dust/residue, clean the tank and base and use only demineralized or distilled water.
9. Ensure that the humidifier is placed on a solid and flat surface to prevent any abnormal noise.
10. If the humidifier does not work properly after following these cleaning steps, contact the customer service center or local service station.
