To oil the cutting mechanism of the HP OneShred 15CC/10MC shredder, follow these steps:
1. Obtain special oil intended for shredders from HP. Do not use spray oils or any other type of oil not specifically designed for shredders.
2. There are two methods to oil the cutting mechanism:
a. Oiling using self-oiled paper:
- Apply the special oil for shredders in several lines horizontally across a sheet of paper.
- Insert the oiled sheet of paper into the insertion slot. The paper with oil applied will be inserted and oil the cutting mechanism.
b. Oiling using oiled sheets:
- Insert the oiled sheet of paper into the paper infeed. The paper with oil applied will be inserted and oil the cutting mechanism.
It is recommended to oil the cutting mechanism at regular intervals to increase the working life of the shredder. Make sure to follow the instructions provided in the manual and use the appropriate oil to avoid any damage to the shredder.
