To install the DJI ZEB 600 Series Horizon UAV Mount, follow these steps:
1. Detach the DJI Expansion Mounting Kit rails from the bottom of the UAV, but leave the four posts which connect to the body of the UAV in place. Loosen the four M3 screws that hold the two short end rails in place and slide the rails off the two long, cylindrical, carbon fiber main rails.
2. Loosen the four clamps that hold the two main rails in place and slide them out. Remove the clamps themselves from the four posts. Access the xxxx head via the hole in the bottom of the clamp.
3. On the central post of the UAV Mount, open the locking lever and push in the sprung catch to separate the upper (anti-vibration plate) and lower (ZEB Horizon plate) sections.
4. Attach the upper anti-vibration plate to the four posts of the DJI Expansion Mounting Kit using the four M3-12 screws provided.
5. Attach the ZEB Horizon scanning head and data logger to the lower plate of the UAV Mount using the eight M4 screws provided. The mount points are on the back of each unit.
6. Cable the system as instructed in the ZEB Horizon User Guide using the 0.85m short main cable provided to connect the scanner head to the data logger.
7. Attach the PAG battery to the data logger as instructed in the ZEB Horizon User Guide.
8. Lift the lower section of the mount, which now holds the scanning system, into place. Slide the round, quick release clamp post into the top section. The sprung catch should engage with a 'click'. Take care not to release the lower part of the mount until you are sure the catch is engaged and the system cannot fall.
9. Use the locking lever to secure the mount into the desired position. The system can be mounted with either the scanning head or the data logger towards the direction of flight.
