According to the instruction manual for the BROAN B120DHV 120 Pint Dehumidifier, the air filter should be checked and replaced every three to six months. Operating the unit with a dirty filter can reduce its capacity and efficiency. To replace the air filter, make sure the unit is turned off before changing it. Simply remove the old filter and insert a new MERV-13 filter of the appropriate size (1.75" x 14.00" x 17.50"). Regularly replacing the air filter will help ensure optimal performance and prolong the life of your dehumidifier.
