To install the Hotpoint BIWDHG75148UKN Integrated Washer Dryer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the appliance is handled and installed by two or more persons to avoid injury. Use protective gloves to unpack and install the appliance.
2. If you want to stack a dryer on top of your washing machine, contact Hotpoint's After-Sales Service or your specialist dealer to verify if it is possible. This can only be done with an appropriate stacking kit.
3. Move the appliance without lifting it by the worktop or top lid.
4. Installation, including water supply and electrical connections, must be carried out by a qualified technician. Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specified in the user manual.
5. During installation, make sure the appliance does not damage the power cable. Only activate the appliance when the installation is complete.
6. Do not install the appliance where it may be exposed to extreme conditions such as poor ventilation or temperatures below 5 °C or above 35 °C.
7. Ensure that the four feet of the appliance are stable and resting on the floor. Adjust them as required and use a spirit level to ensure the appliance is level.
8. If the appliance is being installed on wood or "floating" floors, secure a 60 x 60 x 3 cm sheet of plywood to the floor and place the appliance on top of it.
9. Connect the water inlet hose(s) to the water supply according to the regulations of your local water company. For cold fill-only models, do not connect to the hot water supply. For models with hot fill, the hot water inlet temperature must not exceed 60 °C.
10. Before using the machine, remove the transport bolts and cover the openings with the enclosed plastic caps.
11. After installation, wait a few hours before starting the appliance to allow it to acclimate to the environmental conditions of the room.
