To replace the battery in the Megger DCM310 Clampmeter, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the Clampmeter is turned off.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the meter.
3. Use a screwdriver to remove the xxxx securing the battery compartment cover.
4. Remove the battery compartment cover.
5. Take out the old battery from the compartment.
6. Insert a new 9V PP3/6LR61 battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -).
7. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the xxxx .
8. The meter is now ready to be used with the new battery.
Please note that rechargeable batteries are not suitable for use with this instrument. It is recommended to use ALKALINE batteries with a battery life of approximately 580 hours.
