To connect the Avantree BTTC-418-P Wireless Audio Transmitter to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Power up the transmitter using the micro USB power/data cable provided. Connect it to either the TV's USB port (TV must be ON to provide power) or a USB charger with a rating of 500mA-2A. Slide the ON/OFF switch to ON. All LED lights will light up for 2 seconds upon powering on.
2. Enter the transmitter into PAIRING MODE. For the first-time use, the transmitter will automatically enter pairing mode. The LED indicator next to the pairing button will flash RED and BLUE alternately. If not in first-time use, press and hold the pairing button for 1 second to enter pairing mode.
3. Put your Bluetooth headphones into PAIRING MODE. Refer to the relevant user manual for your headphones. Usually, the LED on the headphones will flash RED and BLUE alternately or flash BLUE quickly.
4. During the pairing process, keep the transmitter and headphones close to each other and wait. Once connected, the LED indicator next to the pairing button will turn SOLID BLUE.
Note: The transmitter will automatically reconnect to the last connected device within 5-10 seconds after both devices have been powered on. If the LED indicator next to the pairing button on the transmitter turns solid BLUE, it confirms that the connection between the transmitter and headphones is working normally.
If you still cannot hear anything through your headphones after following the steps above and connecting the transmitter to your TV/audio source, please adjust your TV audio output settings as suggested in the manual or contact your TV manufacturer for support.
