The installation of the AUTO-VOX CS-2 Wireless Backup Camera is simple and can be done in two steps. Here is a step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Mounting the Camera
- Choose a suitable location on the rear of your vehicle to mount the camera. It should provide a clear view of the area behind the vehicle.
- Clean the mounting surface and attach the camera using the provided screws or adhesive.
- Adjust the camera angle to ensure optimal visibility.
Step 2: Connecting the Camera and Display
- Connect the red wire of the camera to the positive terminal of your vehicle's reverse light. This will power the camera when you engage the reverse gear, and the rearview image will immediately appear on the display.
- If you want to use the camera for continuous monitoring, connect the camera's red wire to a continuous power source, such as the vehicle's fuse box or a separate power outlet.
- Connect the black wire of the camera to the vehicle's ground or a metal surface for proper grounding.
- Power the display by plugging it into the provided cigarette lighter or fuse box adapter.
