To connect your Bluetooth device to the Magnavox MD6972 Portable CD Boombox, please follow these steps:
1. Turn on the CD Boombox by sliding the Function Selector to the BT/CD/AUX position. The LCD Display will illuminate and the indicator "CD" will appear.
2. Press and hold the /BT/SCAN Button on the top of the unit to switch the unit to BT mode. The indicator on the front of the unit will illuminate and blink, and "bt" will appear on the LCD Display and blink.
3. Power on your Bluetooth device and enter Bluetooth searching mode. Refer to the instructions for your specific device on how to do this.
4. Once your Bluetooth device is in searching mode, it should detect the Magnavox MD6972. On your Bluetooth device, select "MD6972" from the list of available devices. The model number "MD6972" will appear on the display of your Bluetooth device.
5. If prompted, enter a passcode to pair the devices. Try using "0000" or "1234" as the passcode.
6. Once the pairing is successful, the indicator "bt" on the LCD Display and the indicator on the front of the unit will stop blinking.
7. You can now play music from your Bluetooth device through the Magnavox MD6972 Portable CD Boombox. Adjust the volume level using the VOLUME Control xxxx on the unit.
Note: If you have already paired the MD6972 with a Bluetooth device and want to connect a different device, you may need to disconnect the current Bluetooth connection first. Press and hold the ■/BAND Button to disconnect the current Bluetooth connection, and then follow the pairing steps above for the new device.
