To change the temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the SOVARCATE HS980E Infrared Thermometer Gun, follow these steps:
1. Press the "Mode" button on the thermometer to enter the mode selection menu.
2. Use the "Laser/numeric decrease" button and "Backlight/numeric increase" button to navigate through the menu options.
3. Look for the temperature unit option, which may be labeled as "°C/°F" or something similar.
4. Once you have highlighted the temperature unit option, press the "Mode" button to select it.
5. Use the "Laser/numeric decrease" button and "Backlight/numeric increase" button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
6. When the desired temperature unit is displayed on the screen, press the "Mode" button again to confirm the selection.
