To connect devices to the REDLINE HT-S1008D 100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the switch is powered on by checking the Power LED indicator. It should be blue and on.
2. Locate the RJ45 ports on the switch. There are 5 ports available for connecting devices.
3. Take an Ethernet cable and connect one end to the Ethernet port on your device (e.g., computer, printer, etc.).
4. Take the other end of the Ethernet cable and connect it to one of the RJ45 ports on the switch. The Link/Act/100Mbps LED indicator for that port should turn on, indicating a successful connection.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each device you want to connect to the switch.
Note: The switch supports both 10Base T and 100Base T Ethernet connections. Make sure to use the appropriate Ethernet cable based on the speed of your device's network adapter.
