To jump start a car using the Einhell CE-JS 18/1 Jump Start Power Bank, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power bank is fully charged. You can charge it using the included 230V charging adapter.
2. Locate the car's battery and make sure both vehicles are turned off.
3. Connect the red clamp of the jump start cable to the positive terminal (+) of the car's battery.
4. Connect the black clamp of the jump start cable to a metal, unpainted part of the car's engine block or chassis. This serves as the grounding point.
5. Turn on the power bank by pressing the power button.
6. Start the car's engine. If the engine does not start immediately, wait for a few minutes and try again.
7. Once the car is started, carefully disconnect the jump start cable in the reverse order: black clamp first, then red clamp.
Please note that the Einhell CE-JS 18/1 Jump Start Power Bank is suitable for petrol engines up to 8,000ccm and diesel engines up to 5,000ccm. It provides a jump start function with a peak current of 600A and a start current of 300A for 5 seconds.
