To clean the grease filters on the NEFF D62BBC0N0B 60cm Chimney Cooker Hood, follow these steps:
1. Remove the grease filters from the holders. Grip below the grease filter with one hand and open the lock on the grease filter. Fold down the grease filter and remove it from the holders. To prevent grease from dripping, hold the grease filter horizontally.
2. Clean the grease filters manually or in the dishwasher:
- Manual cleaning: Soak the grease filters in hot soapy water. Use a brush to clean the grease filters. Rinse them thoroughly and allow them to drain.
- Dishwasher cleaning: Place the grease filters loosely into the dishwasher. Do not clean heavily soiled grease filters with utensils. Start the dishwasher with a temperature of no more than 70°C. Allow the grease filters to drain after cleaning.
3. After cleaning, fit the grease filters back into the holders. Grip below the grease filter with one hand and insert it into the holders. The lock on the grease filter should click into place. If the grease filter has been inserted incorrectly, carefully push the lock forwards, remove the grease filter, and insert it correctly.
It is important to clean the grease filters regularly to prevent fatty deposits from catching fire. We recommend cleaning the grease filters every two months.
