To start a wash cycle on the Hotpoint NDD 8636 GDA UK Washer Dryer, follow these steps:
1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine. The indicator light for the START/PAUSE button will flash slowly green.
2. Open the door and load the laundry, making sure not to exceed the maximum load quantity indicated in the wash cycle table.
3. Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer and pour the detergent into the relevant compartments as described in the "DETERGENT DISPENSER DRAWER" section of the user guide.
4. Close the door.
5. The machine will automatically display the maximum temperature and spin speed values for the selected cycle, or the most recently used settings if they are compatible with the selected cycle. You can adjust the temperature and spin speed by pressing the °C and SPIN buttons.
6. Select the desired wash cycle using the WASH CYCLE SELECTOR xxxx .
7. Select any desired options such as Extra Rinse, Extra Touch, Delay, °C Temperature, or Spin.
8. Press the START/PAUSE button to start the wash cycle. The indicator light for START/PAUSE will light up steady green, and the door will lock (symbol on).
Note: If you need to pause the wash cycle, press the START/PAUSE button again. To open the door while a cycle is in progress, pause the cycle using the START/PAUSE button and wait for the symbol to turn off before opening the door.
