To clean the surface burners on your Whirlpool W11508816B gas range, follow these steps:
1. Make sure all controls are off and the cooktop is cool.
2. Remove the surface grates from the cooktop.
3. Remove the burner caps from the burner bases.
4. Clean the burner caps and bases with a mild liquid cleaner or non-abrasive scrubbing pad. Make sure to remove any food spills or debris that may be blocking the burner ports.
5. Clean the gas tube opening with a damp cloth to ensure proper gas flow.

8. Replace the surface grates.
