To adjust the throttle cable on the NAKAYAMA PS3100 Petrol Machine, follow these steps:
1. Stop the engine and make sure the stop switch is in the OFF position.
2. Locate the cable adjuster on the throttle cable near the carburetor.
3. Loosen the cable adjuster lock nut.
4. Turn the cable adjuster clockwise to decrease the throttle cable tension or counterclockwise to increase the tension.
5. Check the throttle response by starting the engine and operating the throttle trigger. Adjust the cable tension until the engine runs smoothly at idle and responds correctly to throttle input.
6. Once the desired throttle response is achieved, tighten the cable adjuster lock nut to secure the adjustment.
Note: It is important to ensure that the throttle cable has the correct amount of play (1-2mm) when measured at the carburetor side end. Adjust the cable tension as necessary to achieve the proper play.
