To wire the SV200 Digital Servo Drives, follow these steps:
1. Wire the drive's P1 connector to the AC power source. For single-phase AC, use the L1 (Line) and L3 (Neutral) terminals. The L1C and L2C terminals must also be wired to the power control logic circuit. For a temporary test setup, you can use jumpers to connect L1 to L1C and L3 to L2C. For permanent industrial wiring recommendations, refer to section 4.1 of the SV200 Hardware Manual.
2. Connect the motor phase wires to the Motor connector P2. Insert the ferrules of the wires marked U, V, and W on the motor extension cable to the corresponding P2 terminal locations. Make sure to leave the pre-installed jumper wire in the P2 mating connector as it is necessary for the operation of the internal regen resistor (see section 4.5 of the Hardware Manual).
3. Connect the motor feedback cable to connector CN3. Refer to section 4.3 of the Hardware Manual for detailed instructions.
4. Connect the AC Earth Ground wire and Motor GND wire to the Ground screws next to the P2 connector.
5. Connect the pre-wired STO (Safe Torque Off) connector to CN5. Refer to section 4.3.6 of the Hardware Manual for detailed instructions.
