To assemble the homestyles 5450-501 Platform Bed, please follow the assembly instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Carefully remove all the parts from the carton and place them individually on a soft cloth to prevent scratches or other damage.
2. Insert the Cam Lock Screws into the pre-drilled holes in the Top Rail (A) and Posts (C), (D).
3. Attach the Top Rail (A) to the Head Panel (B) using Dowels and Cam Locks.
4. Attach the Post (C) to the unit with Dowels, Cam Locks, Head Cap Bolts (short), and Spring Washers. Attach the Bottom Rail (E) to the unit with Head Cap Bolts (short) and Spring Washers. Attach the Post (D) to the unit using the same method. Tighten all bolts with the Hex Wrench.
5. Make sure to use a soft cloth between the parts and the floor.
6. Do not use power tools above 8 volts to assemble.
7. Do not tighten all the bolts until each part is properly assembled.
8. The unit must be level for proper functioning. Use the included adjustable levelers to level the bed.
9. Keep the Hex Wrench as the bolts may need to be tightened in the future.
10. Follow the care instructions provided to ensure the longevity of the bed.
