To disable the auto-off function on the eti Temptest 2 Smart Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Switch the unit off.
2. Press and hold the HOLD/LOCK and ON/OFF buttons at the same time.
3. While holding both buttons, the message "auto off disabled" will scroll across the screen.
4. Once the unit is switched off, it will revert to the auto-off function being enabled.
Please note that disabling the auto-off function may reduce battery life as the unit will remain on until manually switched off.
