To install the GEBERIT IDO 1116601101 Wide Sink with a pedestal, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that you have all the necessary tools required for installation, as mentioned in the manual.
2. Take into account the moisture trap when drilling the fixing hole. This is important to avoid any damage to the trap during installation.
3. If you are using bolt fastening, make sure that your wall structure is reinforced to support the weight of the sink. xxxx -fastening basins require a reinforced wall structure.
4. The principal dimensions of the porcelain products may have a tolerance of ±2%. Keep this in mind when measuring and drilling the fixing hole.
5. If you are using brackets for installation, they need to be ordered separately. The length of the brackets should be 195 mm or 240 mm, depending on the specific model of the washbasin. Additionally, screws with the size M10x120 mm should be ordered separately as well.
6. Once you have the necessary brackets and screws, take into account the moisture trap and drill the fixing hole accordingly.
7. If you are using a pedestal, it should be installed together with the washbasin so that the washbasin rests on the pedestal. The pedestal is suitable for washbasins with a size of 56 cm and 60 cm, both round and square.
