To upgrade the memory on the MITSUBISHI Mustang Motherboard, you need to follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have the correct type of DIMM. The DIMMs must have gold contacts, be 3.3V, 64-bit, unbuffered, SDRAM-type with Serial Presence Detect (SPD), and have a CAS latency of 2 at 66 MHz.
2. Turn off the computer and unplug all power cords.
3. Take suitable anti-static precautions and remove the system unit cover.
4. Locate the two DIMM sockets on the motherboard. These sockets can accept DIMMs of up to 128 Mbytes each, allowing for a maximum memory capacity of 256 Mbytes.
5. Carefully insert the DIMM into the socket, ensuring that it is properly aligned with the slot.
6. Press down firmly on both ends of the DIMM until it clicks into place.
7. Replace the system unit cover and reconnect all power cords.
8. Turn on the computer and check the system information to confirm that the memory upgrade was successful.
