To install the handle on the Summit SCFM103SL chest freezer, follow these steps:
1. Fix the handle to the door using the provided screws. Make sure to position the handle with the notch on the right-hand side, facing down. The notch is designed to accommodate the freezer lock.
2. Insert one side of the handle cover into the handle holder, then insert the other side.
3. Press the cover into the handle to secure it in place.
To install the lock on the freezer:
1. Secure the lock assembly to the cabinet using the provided screws.
2. Place the lock cover over the lock assembly and press it onto the lock until you hear a clicking sound, indicating that the cover is attached.
To install the casters:
1. Lay the packaging foam that the freezer was packed in on the ground, ensuring that the bottom of the unit is exposed.
2. Install the wheels on the side of the unit with the control panel, typically the right-hand side.
3. Slide the casters into the slots on the opposite side, typically the left-hand side.
4. Fix the casters to the freezer using the provided screws.
5. Carefully set the unit upright.
Note: It is important to wait at least 2 hours before powering on the unit to allow the refrigerant to settle.
