To install the Midea MWH Series Instant Electric Water Heater, follow these steps:
1. Check the capacity of the power circuit to ensure it is sufficient for the water heater.
2. Install the power cord according to the wiring terminals, making sure the neutral line (blue), live line (brown/red), and earth line (green/yellow) are connected correctly.
3. Determine the installation position of the unit based on the length of the power cord and the position of the air switch. The distance between the bottom of the unit and the floor should be at least 1.6m.
4. Ensure there is a distance of at least 300mm between the unit and the surrounding wall for maintenance purposes.
5. Use the four fixing screws (provided with the unit) to mount the unit on the wall. Drill holes in the wall and insert wall plugs before driving in the screws.
6. Connect the wires and install the top cover with the screws.
For plumbing connection:
1. Install a water valve with a filter at the water inlet of the unit, using a sealing ring with a filter at the end face.
2. Connect the shower flexible tube to the water outlets and shower head separately, using sealing rings at the end face.
3. Do not use a metallic/chromed hose and conductive control valve.
4. Use a water flow adjusting valve with a filter when installing the unit. The blue marker indicates the water inlet, and the red marker indicates the water outlet.
