To test network cables using the NOYAFA NF-810 Network Cable Tester, follow these steps:
1. Connect the transmitter to the Ethernet switch/router/PC terminal using the provided RJ45 adapter cable.
2. Turn on the transmitter by turning the xxxx switch away from "OFF". The startup is successful when the power indicator light is on.
3. Adjust the receiver xxxx switch to a beep and ensure that the power indicator light is always on. This powers on the receiver.
4. Rotate the transmitter xxxx switch to "SCAN" to enter the cable scanning function. The scan indicator light will be on.
5. Connect one end of the network cable/telephone cable to be tested to the RJ45/RJ11 port of the transmitter.
6. Turn on the receiver xxxx switch and adjust the receiver xxxx switch to the maximum sensitivity.
7. Use the receiver probe to approach the cable. When the receiver receives a signal, it will emit a "divide" sound, and the yellow-green signal indicator light will flash. The stronger the signal, the brighter the indicator light flashes. This helps you locate the approximate position of the cable.
8. Once you have determined the approximate position of the cable, reduce the receiver's signal sensitivity to accurately locate the target line.
