Yes, the LINDY 43352 3m USB 3.2 C/A Active Extension can be used without an external power supply. It can be bus-powered, meaning it draws power directly from the USB port on your computer. However, if you are using a USB device with high power demands, such as a USB hub, it may be necessary to connect a separate power supply. The power supply should have a USB Micro-B connector and provide 5VDC with a minimum of 500mA. Please note that the power supply is not included with the product.
