To install the Parrot Uncle F6298 48 Inch Bronze LED Indoor Flush Mount Chandelier Ceiling Fan, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to shut off the power at the fuse or circuit breaker to avoid electric shock.
2. Ensure that you have a location selected for the fan that allows clear space for the blades to rotate and at least seven feet of clearance between the floor and the fan blade tips. The fan should also be mounted at least 30 inches from walls or other upright structures.
3. Make sure the outlet box and ceiling support joist used are securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 100 pounds. The outlet box must be supported directly by the building structure. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
4. Carefully read all instructions and safety information provided in the manual before proceeding with the installation.
5. After ensuring the power is off, follow the electrical diagrams provided in the manual to make the necessary electrical connections. 6. Do not use any solid-state fan speed control device or rheostat with this fan, as it may pose a risk of electrical shock or fire.
7. Once the electrical connections are secure, mount the fan to the outlet box marked "acceptable for fan support" using the mounting screws provided with the outlet box. Ensure that the fan is properly supported and does not wobble.
