To install the QED Precision Quickv Change Orifice Plate Wellhead, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you are using the equipment in a professional setting and that you have read and understood all safety warnings mentioned in the user manual.
2. Choose the appropriate orifice plate kit based on your specific application. The manual provides the part numbers for different orifice plate kits suitable for vertical and horizontal wellheads.
3. The valve can be installed in any orientation. Connect the pipe port to the intake gas.
4. Before operating the valve, make sure to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, respirators, protective clothing, and chemically resistant gloves.
5. To open the valve, turn the valve handle counterclockwise. As you open the valve, the yellow metered label will expose, indicating the relative position of the valve.
6. Refer to the chart provided in the manual to determine the approximate gas flow rate based on the number of turns of the valve from the closed position.
