To clean the DASH DMG001 Mini Maker Grill, always allow the appliance to cool completely before moving, cleaning, or storing. Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquids. Instead, use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe down the Cooking Surface and Cover. Thoroughly rinse the cloth and wipe again. If there is food burned onto the Cooking Surface, you can pour on a small amount of cooking oil and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, scrub the surface with a sponge or soft-bristled brush to dislodge the food. Use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe down the Cooking Surface again. Thoroughly rinse the cloth and wipe again. If any food remains, you can pour on more cooking oil and let it sit for a few hours, then scrub and wipe clean. It is important to note that you should never use abrasive cleaning agents on the Mini Maker Grill as this may damage the appliance and its non-stick Cooking Surface.
