To set up your Breezeline DTA Digital HD Set-Top Box, follow these steps:
1. Removing your current equipment (if applicable):
- Unplug the Set-Top Box you are replacing from its power source.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable from the back of the Set-Top Box. Do not disconnect the other end of the cable line from the wall or any splitters.
2. Installing your Digital HD Set-Top Box:
- Connect the coaxial cable to the cable wall outlet and the "CABLE IN" port on the HD Set-Top Box.
- For HD TVs: Connect the HDMI cable to the "HDMI" port on the HD Set-Top Box and the other end to the "HDMI" port on your TV.
- For SD TVs: Connect a second coaxial cable from the "RF OUT" port on the HD Set-Top Box to the input port on the TV.
- Connect the power cord to the electrical wall outlet and the "DC 5V IN" port on the HD Set-Top Box.
3. Activating your Digital HD Set-Top Box:
- For SD TV connections, tune your TV to channel 3 or 4. For HD TVs, make sure your TV is turned on.
- The Digital HD Set-Top Box will automatically begin to activate, blinking three times in a row. This process takes approximately 5 minutes.
- Once the Digital HD Set-Top Box starts blinking 2 times in a row, call the automated activation line at 1.888.396.7255 and follow the instructions to complete the activation.
4. Pairing your Remote Control:
- Press the Menu button on the remote control.
- Select Remote Control and then Remote Control Pairing.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED Indicator turns green.
- Press the Menu button and enter the pairing code displayed on the screen.
