Before every dive, it is important to perform a leak test on the mask to ensure it is in perfect working condition. Here's how to do it:
1. Press the mask on your face with one hand, creating a seal.
2. Inhale through your nose to generate an under pressure.
3. The mask should stay on your face when you breathe in and hold your breath, creating a vacuum and suction.
4. Head and facial hair can influence the result, so make sure to consider this when performing the test.
If the mask fails the leak test or if you have any doubts about its condition, it is recommended to take the mask to an authorized SCUBAPRO dealer for further inspection or servicing.
