To assemble the Manhattan 462303 Aluminum Gas Spring Single Monitor Desk Mount, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have received all parts according to the component checklist provided in the manual.
2. Make sure the supporting surface can safely support the combined weight of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.
3. Use the mounting screws provided to attach the desk mount to the supporting surface. Do not over-tighten the screws.
4. Attach the gas spring arm to the desk mount using the provided screws. Make sure it is securely fastened.
5. Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws. Make sure it is securely fastened.
6. Slide the VESA plate onto the gas spring arm and secure it in place using the locking mechanism.
7. Adjust the tension of the gas spring arm according to your preference. This can be done by turning the tension adjustment xxxx located on the arm.
8. Once the tension is set, position your monitor to the desired height and angle.
9. Check that the bracket is secure and safe to use at regular intervals, at least every three months.
