To activate the hob, touch the power button for 1 second. To deactivate the hob, touch the power button for 1 second again. The hob also has an automatic switch-off function that deactivates the hob if all cooking zones are turned off, if the heat setting is not set after activating the hob, or if something is placed on the control panel for more than 10 seconds.
