To install the DAVIS LIGHTING MENSA-MST Troffer LED Ceiling Light, please follow these steps:
1. Prior to installation, make sure to read all instructions provided in the manual to prevent any injury, electric shock, or damage.
2. Turn off and isolate the electrical supply before commencing the installation.
3. Inspect the luminaire and associated parts for any signs of defect, such as fasteners, cables, and the diffuser or glass lens. Do not install the luminaire if it appears faulty. Consult with the supplier or sales office for replacement details.
4. Ensure that the luminaire is suitable for T-Bar and plastered recessed mount only.
5. Connect the DC cable from the driver to the fitting, and then connect the mains supply.
6. Place the luminaire onto the T-bar ceiling. If the luminaire is installed with a flex and plug, place it onto the T-bar ceiling and insert the plug into the appropriate supply socket.
7. Turn on the main supply.
Please note that this luminaire must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local rules and codes. It is also important to maintain the luminaire and driver clearance distance, as well as the clearance distance from building parts, as per local requirements or in accordance with AS/NZS 3000, whichever is greater, to avoid the risk of overheating or fire.
